How do I get to the resort from the airport?

Answer

There is a shuttle service available through Ziva Cancun that will be able to take you to and from the airport. Please see our Venue, Travel & Stay page for more information on securing your shuttle before your arrival.

Is it required to stay onsite at Hyatt Ziva Cancun?

Answer

While it is not required, we highly recommend that guests stay on-site at the resort. Please note that the resort charges an additional $200 per offsite guest, per event, for guests who visit the property without staying overnight.

Yes, you will be able to note any dietary preferences when you RSVP. For additional assistance in accommodating special dietary needs during your stay, please notify the resort ahead of time or at check-in to relay any allergies/restrictions. The resort restaurants and bars also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options.

There are a variety of dining options available at the resort, including: - 6 sit down/dine-in restaurants - 5 fast-casual options - 4 standard bars - 2 swim-up bars

No, all restaurants at the resort are first-come, first-served.

Do any of the restaurants or bars have a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress codes for each restaurant/bar range from Casual to Smart Casual. Beach Attire: Swimsuit attire is welcome Casual, or Resort Casual: Access with DRY bathing suits permitted. Men require a t-shirt and women need a cover-up. Sandals are required. Smart Casual: Dress shorts, close-toed shoes, and collared short-sleeve shirts are required for men. Is there handicap/mobility assistance equipment available at the resort?

Answer

Yes, there are walkers, scooters, and wheelchairs available for long or short-term use. For those needing assistance for the duration of their stay, the resort asks that they call ahead of their stay, so they can reserve their equipment and have it available at the concierge desk when they arrive.

Does the resort provide medical services and support?

Answer

Yes, a medical doctor is available on-site on a 24-hour basis, at an additional cost. Certified lifeguards are available in pool and beach areas, and first aid is provided on a 24-hour basis for emergency situations.

Can I drink the local water?

Answer

We recommend not drinking faucet/tap water, the resort will provide filtered and bottled water at all times. Water and ice cubes served at all resort venues are always filtered and safe to drink. Certified by third-party auditors, the resort is compliant with the highest level in industry sanitation standards & best practices.

How can I arrange tours and excursions outside the resort?

You will be able to purchase tours at our on-site hospitality desk, conveniently located next to the gym.

What is the difference between an activity and an excursion/tour?

Generally, activities are included in the all-inclusive plan, such as pool parties, tastings, and fitness lessons. Tours and excursions are optional off-site activities offered by third-party vendors, at an additional charge. Your all-inclusive plan includes meals, drinks, entertainment, and many fun activities! Cash payments are accepted in US Dollars and Mexican Pesos. Most major credit cards are accepted, often with no foreign transaction fees.
