Kylie's favorite theme park. It offers free parking and admission, with pay-as-you-go rides. Tons of great affordable food options. Don't want to stay all day? It is a perfect place to go walk around and grab dinner too!
Another favorite that also has free parking and a free tour/ ride on how Hershey Chocolate is made (with a free piece of candy at the end). Check out the HUGE selection of candy after and take some home!
A large amusement park right next door to chocolate world. Perfect for families and thrill-seekers.
A great Cave tour with one of the largest bat habitats in PA (They are only there in the winter months). The cave is over 400 million years old and a great option for those looking to learn more about the history of central PA.
Just down the road from Woodward is another Cave and wildlife park. It is a guided tour by boat into the cave to learn about its history.
The perfect place for someone a fan of history. You could spend the whole day walking around due to the huge number of things to do here.
Amish country! The perfect spot to learn about the Amish, check out their shops and find some really amazing Amish food!
One of the many local State Parks PA has to offer. Weather permitting this is a great spot not far from our house. It offers many picnic tables, hiking trails, and a "beach" on a lake. All free.
If you're flying into Philly, I highly recommend spending the day to see some pretty cool historical sites and grab yourself a REAL Philly cheesesteak.
If you plan on making it a vacation NYC is only a 3-hour drive. I recommend parking in New Jersey and taking the tram into New York Penn Station to avoid traffic if you only plan on spending the day there.
