Scott and Paige met at what used to be Doane College. They had somewhat known each other from mutual friends. Scott's freshman roommate and Paige's friend tried to get them together freshman year. It was not until sophomore year of college though that Scott blackmailed Paige into going on a date to HuHot. The rest is history.

After making the trek up to Central City to ask Paige's father for her hand in marriage, Scott and Paige went to an Illenium concert in downtown Omaha at Slowdown. It was one of Paige's favorite artist. When Paige's favorite song came on, Scott frantically searched for the ring. In the middle of the song, he tapped Paige on the shoulder, got down on one knee, and proposed to Paige. She was so surprised and overjoyed, and of course she said yes!

Scott and Paige enjoy traveling. They love going to many Royals baseball games together throughout the summer. They have also gone to Las Vegas, Chicago, Fort Collins, and other places together. It won't surprise many that Scott and Paige love to sit and watch "The Office" together, or Star Wars, or Disney-Pixar movies (they are children at heart). They also enjoy playing games with their families and friends.
