What's the dress code?

Answer

We'd love for you to be dressed in formal attire such as gowns or formal cocktail dresses for women and tuxes and suits with neckties or bowties for men. The color palette for the dress code is shades of champagne, green, mauve, dusty rose, light browns as well as gray and black. Please refer to color palette and examples sent previously. Please refrain from wearing traditional Habesha Kemis as we would like to save that for the Melse. Please note that casual clothing would not be appropriate for this occasion. We can't wait to create these special memories with you!

Can I bring a guest?

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you.

While we love your little ones, we’re only able to accommodate the children listed on each invitation due to space limitations. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly encourage our guests to stay in the Houston area as our Melse will be in Houston the following day. This will give you more access to restaurants, malls, etc should you wish to explore. Please refer to the travel tab to see some hotels we suggest. Please note our wedding ceremony and reception will be in Montgomery, TX which is about 45 minutes to 1 hour away from Houston.

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Having you with us on our special day is truly the greatest gift. For those who wish to give something more, we’ve created a registry of items we love, along with a honeymoon fund to help us make memories on our first trip as newlyweds. There will also be a designated area for gifts should you decide to bring one with you.
