Matron of Honor

Sarah is Hilary's older sister. Sarah is a teacher and has spent the last 25 years living all across the country while her husband serves in the Army. Currently, Sarah and her family live in Ellicott City, Maryland. Though Sarah and Hilary are fifteen years apart in age, they have maintained a close relationship throughout Hilary's entire life. Hilary has always looked up to Sarah and is honored that she agreed to stand next to Hilary and Stu on their wedding day.

Aaron Kushner

Best Man

Aaron is Stu's older brother and Best Man. Stu credits Aaron for his love of Washington Capitals hockey, taste for sushi and general disinterest in gadgets.

Molly Kane

Maid of Honor

Molly is Hilary's niece and Sarah's daughter. At the time of the wedding, Molly will have recently finished her freshman year at Indiana University in Bloomington where she studies informatics. When Hilary found out at age twelve that she was going to be an aunt, she was thrilled. Molly is one of Hilary's favorite people in the world and she is so happy that Molly agreed to be her Maid of Honor.

Daniel Kane

Groomsman

Daniel is Hilary's nephew. At the time of the wedding, Daniel will have recently finished his sophomore year in high school in Ellicott City, Maryland. Daniel plays baseball and is involved in ROTC. Daniel is one of Hilary’s favorite people in the world and they have maintained a close relationship for Daniel's entire life. Hilary and Stu can't wait to have Daniel as part of their wedding party.

Alex Alford

Bridesmaid

Alex and Hilary have been best friends since the mid-1990s. Alex lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana and works in marketing. Hilary and Alex first met when their mothers introduced them at Sunday school before Hilary was even in Kindergarten. Alex and Hilary have maintained their friendship for over 25 years and often refer to one another as more of a "sister" than a "friend."

David Kaplan

Groomsman

David and Stu have been friends since they met at Camp Saginaw in 2004. They spent two months hanging out during the summers and the rest of the year chatting on AOL Instant Messenger as "SuperStu8" and "DLKhockey24."

Caroline Flood

Bridesmaid

Caroline and Hilary met in their freshman dorm at Indiana University in 2010 and have remained friends since. Caroline lives in Chicago where she works in finance and is pursuing her MBA at Northwestern University. Caroline is an all-around #girlboss and of all of her friends, Hilary admires Caroline the most.

Jarrett Weisberg

Jarrett is Stu's cousin. As two of the youngest members of the family, Stu and Jarrett are regulars at the kids table during Jewish holiday dinners, hoping to one day be called up from the adult table waitlist.

Jessica Thompson

Bridesmaid

Jessica and Hilary met in their freshman dorm at Indiana University in 2010 and have remained friends since. Jessica and her husband recently moved to Indianapolis from Chicago and live in the same neighborhood as Hilary and Stu! Jessica works in Public Relations and is one of the nicest, friendliest, and most approachable people that Hilary has ever met.

Danny Miller

Danny asked Stu if he would share his gummy worms at lunch during the first week of freshman year at Winston Churchill High School. They have been friends ever since, spent a year as roommates and have played over 200 games of EA NHL Hockey against each other.

Jamie Kushner Blicher

Jamie is Stu’s older sister. As his first babysitter, curer of homesickness in his first summer at camp and more, she has always looked out for Stu. Jamie can be credited for introducing Stu to shows like “The Office” and “Arrested Development,” teaching him how to dance and his love of solving puzzles.

Brian Blicher

Brian is Stu's brother-in-law. Since the day they met, Brian has been Stu's go-to sounding board for fantasy football team names and a reliable +1 at sporting events. If you ever need a ringer for trivia involving Superman, Transformers, Nationals baseball or Maryland athletics, Brian's your guy.
