From out of town? We have you covered.
Washington, D.C. has 3 major airports:
1. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). This is the closest airport and the Blue and Yellow Lines on the Metro will connect you to D.C.
2. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). This one takes about an hour on the Silver Line to get you into D.C.
3. Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). The MARC train (different from the Metro) will also take about an hour to get to Union Station in D.C.
If looking for a hotel or AirBnB, we'd recommend looking in the following neighborhoods:
- Navy Yard
- Southwest/Wharf
- Dupont Circle
- West End
- Mt. Vernon Triangle
Getting around town is easy, thanks to the public transportation system. For more information about the Metro system, including their hours of operation, check out their website:

Also, there are Ubers and Lyfts aplenty, as well as scooters and bikes galore. Finally, don't forget those two feet of yours.
