We recommend getting some baseline groceries (esp. any special dietary items you may need) prior to getting on the ferry. There is a small grocery store on the island, but if you really need something it's better to be looking at it than looking for it. The Washington Island Ferry

Drive your car onto the boat and head to The Island! The Washington Island Ferry runs at fairly regular intervals with a boat departing every 30 minutes or so. Please check out the schedule on their site as the date gets closer.
