Flight
Flying in? Chicago has two major airports: O’Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW). O’Hare is the big international hub with all the bells, whistles, and occasional chaos. Midway is smaller, often less hectic, and great if you're flying Southwest. Both are solid—just pick the one with the best flight times (or the least layovers). Both airports are 30-45 minutes to downtown.
Travel Note
Most spots in Downtown Chicago are under a 15-minute drive to our venue, so we recommend staying in the heart of city. You'll be close to the action, the skyline views, and (most importantly) the dance floor. There are so many hotels to choose from in Chicago, it's hard to go wrong! Here are a few we recommend:
Hotel
We’ll be staying at the Palmer House Hilton, a historic Chicago gem in the heart of downtown. It’s grand, gorgeous, and has major old-school glamour—perfect for getting ready, people-watching in the lobby, and grabbing a cocktail before or after the festivities. Bonus: it’s walking distance to a ton of Chicago sights if you’re making a weekend out of it.
Hotel
The Godfrey Hotel is a sleek, modern option in River North—perfect if you’re looking for something stylish without splurging too hard. The rooms are spacious, the lighting is dramatic (in a good way), and the rooftop lounge is a whole vibe. Great for getting ready and pre-wedding selfies.
Hotel
The 21c Museum Hotel is a boutique spot that’s part contemporary art museum, part hotel—and totally cool. It’s more budget-friendly than some of the luxe options, but still offers sleek rooms and a great location just off Michigan Avenue. Plus, you can casually say you stayed in a museum.
Hotel
Check out the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel—a stylish spot right by the river with modern rooms, comfy vibes, and killer city views. It’s a great choice if you want to be close to all the downtown action (and just a quick ride to the venue). Pro tip: the rooftop bar doesn’t disappoint.
Hotel
The Allegro Royal Sonesta blends vintage charm with modern comfort, right in the heart of the Theater District. It's walkable to tons of iconic Chicago sights and offers a classy, convenient home base that won’t break the bank. Bonus: the Art Deco vibes are chef’s kiss for wedding weekend photos.
