We met at Georgia Southern University in 2013 and started dating in 2017. Unexpectedly brought together by the same love for gaming, fantasy, and adventure, we've had the time of our lives so far. Since then, we've driven across the country and back, defeated the old gods of Azeroth, and adopted two cute and cuddly balls of fur named Vida and Livingston. With all we've done so far, we're very excited for the future ahead.

Alex proposed with three of the best things: hiking, Lord of the Rings, and Haleakalā. While on a beautiful hike at our favorite place in Maui, Alex had us reenact the classic LoTR scene between Isildur and Elrond. While I was playing Isildur on a ledge overlooking a crater of the volcano, Alex kept saying things didn't look quite right. The ring I was using was wrong! I thought, "Wow! Alex must be so prepared! He brought a replica One Ring for peak Lord of the Rings jokes? Perfect!" Instead, it was much better.
