We were both incredibly nervous to meet! James switched our first date from coffee to Happy Hour! I was just excited to meet him. As he walked up to me at the restaurant, I announced that I hug people and I awkwardly forced him to hug me hello. We ordered drinks talked for hours (my friends were checking in to make sure he wasn't crazy). We haven't been apart since!

James planned a "Surprise Winter Trip" for our 2nd anniversary! He kept the secret for months! We landed in New York City for an incredible weekend! We got to see the first snowfall of the season, visit museums, cool restaurants, and see family and friends. Nicole's cousin was the best tour guide and took us to eat at the original Junior's in Brooklyn (the BEST cheesecake we've ever had!) and our friends Brian and Emily met us to walk around Central Park Zoo and Time Square. AND THEN in the Rockefeller plaza, James nervously got down on one knee as we were posing for a picture and proposed. It was magical!
