Friday October 23, 2026 in Allenspark, CO
Dressy but enchanting; think mountain/woodsy elegant boho but no need for heels. We will be both indoors and outdoors throughout the day. Pack layers, a warm coat, and shoes with good traction if you plan to do any hikes. Blankets and umbrellas will be available for use if weather requires!
Guests are strictly invite only. Be on the lookout for your invites in the mail over the next few months.
The venue is about 1.5–2 hours from DIA. You’ll find recommended stays and rental car discounts on our Travel page.
Take a look at the travel page and be sure to check for group rates we may have posted. Denver sits at 5,280 ft, while Lyons is about 5,300 ft, Boulder at 5,430 ft, and Estes Park/Allenspark are closer to 7,500 ft. At higher elevations, it’s common to feel short of breath, dehydrated, or get headaches! To help, drink plenty of water take it easy your first day (and go light on the alcohol), definitely talk with your doctor before traveling if you’d like altitude sickness medication (it really does help)!
Unfortunately we will not be able to provide transportation for everyone. The venue does provide a shuttle and I will provide more information on that as we find some good places in the area for people to stay (check the travel page). The venue does have ample parking for roughly 150 cars.
Main roads are plowed and paved, but late October in the Rockies can bring snow or icy mornings. AWD is recommended (especially if you’re staying in Estes, Allenspark, or Lyons). CO weather is wild, it could be sunny skies (60-80°F), or crisp days (50–65°F), chilly evenings (20–35°F), and the possibility of snow.
We do not! As we understand the funds being spent to come share this special day with us, we do not have any expectations for gifts. We would love a heartfelt card from our closest family and friends and will have a honeymoon fund for those who would like to give us something special!
Yes! However not on the property of our ceremony and reception site. CO is very strict on the use of any within the national parks as well. Have a great time, but please be smart!
