We have had so many wonderful adventures and great memories made in Vermont. The mountains are green, the cheese is cheddary, the beer is primo, and everything is maple-flavored.
Our ceremony, dinner and reception will be held outside and/or in a pavilion which has enough airflow to be considered "outside" by the state of Vermont. The bride and groom are both vaccinated, and our hope is that as many people as possible can be vaccinated in order to keep everyone safe. Because the CDC and Vermont laws suggest that masks are not necessary for an outdoor gathering, masks will be optional. Please do not hesitate to wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable. For planning purposes, parts of the welcome reception, after party, and brunch will be hosted indoors. In most establishments, masks are optional.
Vermont wedding chic, but for those of you who need a bit more direction, let's go with garden attire. Wear a dress or some slacks. If you are dressing in an inflatable T-Rex costume, maybe add a bowtie? Look nice, but be yourself.
There are rooms available at the Mad River Barn and White Horse in blocked off for hotel guests. For White Horse Inn, please book by May 30 to get the discount rate. Please see "Travel" section for more details.
We will be providing a shuttle service for the ceremony reception, so feel free to get your drink on. Please note that Uber and taxi services are not really an option in Waitsfield. Shuttle stops will be at the White Horse Inn and in the Shaw's parking lot in Waitsfield town center. Shuttle schedule can be found on the "Travel" page.
