As much as we say we met through our college non-profit... it was Bumble. Paige made the first move and only the select few know what her first message to him said. Paige says she knew they would get married after the first date, Connor admits nothing. Timing doesn't always align with life and we went our separate ways while Paige finished school. A year later Hinge (second dating app) kept recommending us their recommended perfect match... each other. "Hinge... that's my ex...." But the rest of story came after one extra swipe and a "casual" lunch date/catch up session.
Paige can pretend she knew all she wanted but she had no idea what the day had in store for her. After the third curling iron Connor had bought for her that day, they headed to Gibbs Garden. Paige tried to find excuses to touch his pockets multiple time but Connor had hidden the ring in his shoes. Neither of them remember what he said except that she said yes. Afterwards they went to an amazing house where they spent the night celebrating with their closest friends.
They eloped! A big, traditional wedding would have been nice but who can turn down a two week vacation in St Lucia? I'm sure friends and family were just glad that Connor and Paige were finally getting married. #2yearengagement It was a beautiful, short ceremony with lots of laughs, followed by an intimate reception overlooking the sunset on the Pitons. They both say that their favorite part of the day was getting it over with but honestly what meant the most were the close friends and family that made the trip to celebrate together.
