What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is Summer Black Tie – think tuxedos, suits, and bow ties for the gents, and over-the-knee dresses for the ladies. We'd like to kindly ask that you avoid wearing blue, as that’s reserved for the bridal party.

Do you have a gift list?

Answer

We’ve been lucky enough to build a home together over the past two years, so we don’t need any household items. If you would like to give a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would mean the world to us - but your presence on the day is truly more than enough.

The wedding will take place on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at The Reid Rooms, Marks Hall Ln, Margaret Roding, Dunmow CM6 1QT

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is February 1st 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. IF you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within the invite. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people on the invitation are in attendance.

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phone and camera away during the ceremony, as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer to capture the ceremony for us.
