Bride
I was born and raised in Montgomery, AL where I met Joel and some of my closest friends. I earned my BSN from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, and I am now working in the Operating Room at USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital.. I now call the cute little town of Fairhope, AL home. Getting to marry Joel is truly one of the greatest blessings! He keeps me sane and comforted on all my challenging days, and builds me up to the greatest heights on the best days! We've been together for 7 years and counting, so he's loved me though all of my years of being awkward and through some big transitions. Through every moment, he chooses to love me, and I am so thankful for him!
Maid of Honor
Lindsay is my older sister by 6 years. My favorite memories from growing up with Lindsay include countless days having pretend concerts in the backyard and many "school" days where she was the teacher and I was her student. We enjoy spending time together shopping and eating at Panera Bread. Linds has always been an ear to talk to, a hug in the hard times, and a constant source of encouragement and motivation for me. She also loves cheering on the Auburn Tigers with Joel! We don't always agree or get along, but Lindsay has the biggest heart of gold, and I am so thrilled to have her be my Maid of Honor!
Junior Bridesmaid
Ella is my younger sister by 11 years. The day Ella was born, I knew we had a Taylor 2.0. Ella loves to play outside with Joel and me (but mainly Joel!). My favorite memories with Ella come from when she was a toddler, and she was starting to talk and gain her sassy personality! We've always enjoyed singing songs and making up dance routines. With Ella, I can always let loose and act silly. We have some of the most fun, even just when we're at a grocery store! The crazy thing about us is that we can go from bickering one second to laughing like crazy the next. I'm so excited for her to be my junior bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Meg and I met our freshman year of college in Chi Omega. We've grown closer ever since, especially after being roommates during out senior year of college! Meg and I have so many ways that we're different, yet we complement each other so well. She has always been so honest and so loyal from the moment I met her. Meg constantly encourages me to push through hard times and to embrace all of my strengths and weaknesses. There have been many nights where we stayed up in the late hours of the night laughing, crying, talking about life, and cheering each other on through every high and every low. I'm so happy to have her as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Emily and I have been friends since 6th grade when we were both in Ms. Richardson's homeroom class at Baldwin Middle School. Needless to say, we've grown up with each other through the most awkward stages (bushy eyebrows and braces) to the most exciting (starting college and beginning some huge internships!). Emily and I share a very distinct taste in music, and we've always connected through that. She is always unapologetically herself, which is a confident and driven woman. She accepts me for my quirks and weaknesses and builds me up for my strengths. We've been there for each other for some of the hardest times in life and some of the greatest, and I am so thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid on this day!
Bridesmaid
Albany and I met freshman year of college at a sorority function. I was standing alone, kind of shy and awkward, when Albany approached me and asked if I wanted to take a picture with her. We've been friends ever since! Albany has always been such a wonderful friend. She's intelligent and kind, and she constantly reminds me to love and seek God and love others through every moment in life! We have both grown closer through serving on our sorority's executive board, and I have gotten to watch her blossom into a poised and gracious leader. We always have so much fun just sitting in her room, talking about anything and everything. I cannot wait to have her stand by my side!
Bridesmaid
Katelyn and I went to school together from 1st grade to 12th grade, but became close friends our freshman year of high school. Katelyn and I were attached at the hip all throughout high school (we had all seven classes together and shared a locker senior year!). Katelyn has been by my side through so many big moments in life, and she has helped and supported Joel and me throughout our years of high school dating and on to long-distance dating. I had the privilege of standing by her side as she married her high school sweetheart in May of 2017! She has been such a loving and true friend for so many years to me, and I am so excited to have her as a bridesmaid!
Groom
I was born in July in Montgomery, AL just a short year and a half before my beautiful fiancé, Taylor. I grew up in Montgomery before I went to Auburn University to get my Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I am now a nurse in the Surgical Trauma ICU in Mobile. I moved to Mobile to be closer to Taylor after we did long distance for about 2 years. Being with Taylor since I was 16 has been amazing. She has been my place of comfort, my place to vent, and to laugh. We have been together for over 7 years now, which has been a blessing.. She has shaped me into the man I am today. She continues to show me every day how lucky I am to be getting to marry my best friend. We are very excited for the big day to come in June!
Best Man
My brother Justin of 22 years will be my best man. I've had the pleasure of seeing Justin grow up through the years into the great man he is today. From playing in the backyard to playing on the various sports teams together, we have had a lot of time to see the bad and the good of each other. My brother Justin has been there through it all. We haven't always seen eye to eye and have given our parents many headaches over the years, but I couldn't have asked for a better brother or a best man to stand by my side on the big day in June!
Groomsman
Josh and I met in nursing school at Auburn. From the first time we met, I knew we were going to be great friends. Just as our other friends and my soon-to-be wife did, Josh made nursing school more bearable. As frustration built from studying, I knew I always had my great support systems, like Josh, to fall back on. He has been a great friend to have and has always helped support Taylor and me through our long distance dating. I cannot wait to have him be one of my groomsmen!
Groomsman
Brock and I have been friends for a long time, since about 3rd grade. We grew up together going to Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery, and he has been one of my best friends ever since. Brock was actually the mutual friend between Taylor and I that led us to meet each other in 2011. Brock and I went to church together for our whole childhood, went to rival High Schools, but went to college together in Auburn for 2 and half years. We have had a lot of good times together and have gotten into plenty of trouble together. He is one of my best friends, and I am very happy to have him be one of my groomsman!
Groomsman
Blake, sometimes referred to as Drake, and I met in nursing school at Auburn. From day one, we have been great friends. From batting practice at the baseball field, to constantly searching for a win in flag football, to listening to all of Drake's music, Blake has been one of my best friends. His constant encouragement and positive presence helped me get through nursing school. He always pushes me to be the best version of myself, and I couldn't have asked for a better friend and groomsman to have!
Groomsman
Baxter and I met during high school through mutual friends. We also went to Auburn together for 3 years. As he did engineering and I did nursing, we still stayed good friends. Whether it was working together at his family's chicken farm, hunting coyotes, riding four wheelers, or blowing things up, we always found a way to have a good time. His constant positive attitude is something that has always made Baxter so cool. I am excited to have him be one of my groomsmen in June!
Groomsman
Zach and I met in nursing school at Auburn. From the first time I met him, he has been one of my best friends. We were able to grow closer through shared frustrations of our studies, the numerous early mornings driving to clinicals, the many good times we had with friends in Auburn, and even deep sea fishing together in the summer. He has been a constant support system, a great friend, and someone I can always count on. I cannot wait to have him as a groomsman on the big day!
Officiant
Mark was my youth minister growing up at Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery. Alabama. He has seen our relationship start and grow into what it is today. Mark embodies the work ethic and love for Christ that I strive to have on a daily basis. I couldn't have asked for a better role model to have as I grew up. Taylor and I cannot wait for him to marry us on our big day in June!
Flower Girl
Lucy is the precious daughter of Joel's Uncle Brian and Aunt Amanda! The first time I met Joel's family, Amanda was pregnant with Lucy, so I've gotten to watch her grow up from a precious little baby to a smart and confident little girl! She loves dancing, and looks absolutely adorable in all of her fun tutus and costumes! She is going to make the most adorable and bubbly flower girl!
