My best friend knew Aaron long before I ever did. One night she mentioned I would be perfect for him. So she asked him if he would meet up for a get together and told him I would be there. He honestly wasn’t sure about coming and I was so shy I wasn’t to sure about it myself. Needless to say he went and so did I. We instantly hit it off and became inseparable every since!

After a long and stressful day for me, Aaron and I decided to stop at Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, VA. Neither one of us had been there and we wanted to see what it was about. There ended up being an overlook of the lake and he wanted to get a picture of us together with the water behind us. It was just us so trying to get that picture seemed almost impossible and it was starting to get dark. I told him that it would be okay and we could go home and get the picture another day (little did I know what was really going on). He was like well let’s try just one more time and so I agreed to it. Well he ended up taking a video and got down on one knee. He was shaking to death that I had to hold his hand to keep him steady. As he was asking me to be his wife tears were rolling down his face. It was such an amazing and memorable moment in our lives!
