We’re getting married!

About 9 years ago, Anna’s best friend, Leah, spoke of a young man named Jordan; he was her coworker who she believed could be a good match for Anna. With curiosity, Anna went to visit Leah at work to hopefully meet this mystery man. There was a whole plan in place: he would to serve her table, they’d meet, sparks would fly, and it’d be wonderful. Well- that plan was sabotaged. Another young man “sharked” (aka stole) the table Anna was at! Little did they know it was all part of life’s plan. Anna recalls looking over toward the service station, (also knowing their server was NOT the guy Leah wanted to set her up with) and seeing a Jordan for the first time. He took a quick look at her table, rolled his eyes, slammed his napkins down, and walked away. That little moment- that sharked table- created the spark. 2 years later, Anna ended up working at the restaurant with Jordan. They grew pretty close in their time working together, and became easy friends. Anna ended up leaving for about a year, and they ended up staying in touch. Upon her return home, that friendship grew into something much more. November 11, 2018, they made things official. Today, they live in Sarasota with their two cats Lita and Mae. Mae sadly passed away unexpectedly Fall 2024. They love to travel together, always finding their way into the mountains and in the snow somehow. It isn’t a successful (winter) trip without snow! They hope to get out of Florida one day, and move somewhere with the aforementioned mountains and much cooler weather. They share a love for music, some really good pizza, and a deep appreciation for the cosmos. Jordan proposed at the Grand Canyon on December 9, 2023. It was 20 degrees, windy, and the most beautifully clear Arizona day. Of course, it was a yes! Being surrounded by family and friends means the most to them, and they can’t wait to share their special day with the people they love dearly. Cheers!
