Wedding Party

Courtney Pastrnak

Matron of Honor

Sister of the Bride. Courtney has been my friend, role model and inspiration since day one. Growing up with a big sis I could look up to and be proud of was something that set the tone for me and shaped the person I am today. I’m sure having her baby sister in tow wasn’t always fun but I never felt unwanted. Our adult years have been a blast from nights out to day adventures with her kiddos. I’m lucky and blessed to have my sister and best friend as Matron of Honor.

Erin Davis Van Buren

Maid of Honor

My bestie from 1,000 miles away. Erin and I were fast friends in PT school at Governors State. We tackled our 20’s together carrying each other through losing loved ones, break ups and celebrating getting our doctorates somehow. Most of my favorite memories from my 20’s have Erin in them. Our 30’s have brought us engagements, weddings and dog children. It is a fact that I wouldn’t be a thriving 30 year old without this lady. It was a blast traveling to Arizona to be Erin’s Maid of Honor and I can’t wait to have her stand up as mine.

Amy Talbot

Bridesmaid

The Dino. I befriended Amy on her first night out in college which she may say was a blessing or a curse. Since then we have been through thick and thin: IWU basketball conditioning at 6 AM, surviving grad school, simultaneous wedding planning, and a few bar crawls in between. Amy is one of the most reliable friends I have, she’s traveled to Chicago, Boston, Wisconsin, and Champaign to stand in the cold to watch me run marathons, I mean who does that? I appreciate her so much and couldn’t imagine the big day without her.

Aleise Chartier

Bridesmaid

My Michigan Soul Sister. Aleise and I became close friends when we bonded while in stand still traffic on the Dan Ryan the morning after a night out during our first month of PT school. We share a love of running and college basketball (I’m now a semi MSU fanatic thanks to her). I know if I pick up the phone day or night Aleise will be on the other end to lend an ear. She has visited me from Detroit for every Birthday since we graduated school, even traveling with her adorable newborn daughter Lorien for my big 3-0. It was an honor to stand up for Aleise’s wedding, I can’t wait to have her in mine.

Brittany Hasselbring

Bridesmaid

College teammates. Britt and I met while playing basketball at Illinois Wesleyan. We were competitors in practice as we both played point guard, this forged a strong bond off the court that remains today. Whether it’s fun shenanigans or a tricky situation Britt’s the friend you want in your corner. She will even travel to Boston and stand in the freezing rain to cheer you on during a marathon. I’m very excited to have her be a part of our big day!

Ellen Hickey

Bridesmaid

Sister-in-law of the Groom. From day one Ellen showed me the ropes to the Hickey Family and made me feel welcomed. I’ve enjoyed building a friendship over the past couple of years. It was extra special to have a friend there when John proposed; enduring that hike in the mud and humidity was true future sister love. Elle has also been so helpful with our wedding plans and we are thrilled to have her be a part of our big day.

Colleen Kenny

Bridesmaid

Childhood bestie. Growing up Colleen and I were the girls you told your son to stay away from because we might beat him up. We went through “Gladiator School” basketball practices together and battled our dads in fierce 2 on 2 games. Our bond on the court was just as strong off the court. Colleen is in all of my favorite high school memories, including a Fenwick Friar State Championship. I was so happy to stand up to Colleen’s wedding and am even more excited to have her in mine.

Natalie Harvey

Bridesmaid

Sister-in-law of the Bride. I was very lucky to gain another great sister when Natalie married my brother Tim. She has been a perfect addition to the family and I really value our bond. We’ve created some good memories the past few years, including travels to Nashville and Phoenix. I’m lucky to have another Harvey girl who has my back and look forward to having her be a part of all the wedding celebrations.

Sydney Stoltz

Bridesmaid

Sydney and I were roommates in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. She was the best support system to come home to, grabbing a glass of red with me to celebrate good news or lending an ear after a rough day. We had a blast taking in all the best bars and restaurants Wicker had to offer. Sydney is always the life of the party and I am so happy to have her by my side on the big day!

Annalise Pastrnak

Flower Girl

Goddaughter of the Bride. Annalise was the child who made me an aunt and she’s had my heart since day one. It’s been so amazing to watch her grow into a funny, smart and sassy 5 year old. I’ve enjoyed every moment giving her piggy back rides, racing and sharing secrets (we won’t talk about the phase where she put boogers in my hair). She puts the biggest smile on my face and I can’t wait to see her walk down the aisle.

Stella Harvey

Flower Girl

Niece of the Bride. Stella is the most laid back and easy going baby I’ve seen, I like to think she gets it from Aunt Holly. Her smiles are big and warm my heart. Stella is not yet walking but in true Harvey girl fashion I’m sure she will be running down the aisle come January

Tom Hickey

Best Man

Tom has been my best friend since the day I was born. I’ve looked up to him my whole life and I couldn’t ask for a better role model in life and in marriage. I am honored to call Tom my best man and for him to stand by my side on our wedding day.

Rick Perotti

Groomsman

Rick and I met at SLU freshman year and we’ve been friends ever since; bonding over all things sports, especially Norte Dame football. Rick has been a valued, reliable friend over the years and I am honored to have Rick stand up to our wedding, as I have the same privilege at his wedding in September.

Brett Wilkin

Groomsman

Brett and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. We played youth baseball together, dominated the SCC in basketball at St. Mikes and continued being friends throughout high school and college. Brett is fun, charismatic and a great friend. I am honored to have him stand up at our wedding.

Mike Majchrowicz

Groomsman

Mike and I have been friends since about 2nd grade when we played baseball together. Mike has been one of my closest friends my whole life. He’s genuine, hardworking and I am honored to have him stand up at our wedding.

Connor Doherty

Groomsman

Connor and I met freshman year at SLU and bonded over our love of Billiken basketball. He has been one of my closest friends for the past decade and I am honored to have him stand up on our wedding

Thomas Pins

Groomsman

Pins and I met on 6R freshman year at SLU and quickly became close friends. We’ve been through it all the past decade, from SLU to Madrid to 3746 Magnolia. Now, I am honored for Pins to stand up to our wedding.

Mark Pastrnak

Groomsman

Mark is the brother-in-law of the bride. Over the past two years we have become good friends and I’m looking forward to having him stand up at our wedding.

Tim Harvey

Groomsman

Tim is the brother of the bride. I’ve enjoyed getting to know him over the past two years and have bonded over our love of Tiger Woods. I look forward to having him stand up at our wedding.

Mark Pastrnak Jr.

Ring Bearer

Nephew of the Bride. John and I started dating shortly after Marky was born so we have been able to share in watching him grow from a newborn to a now terrific 2 year old. Marky was timid with both of us at first, it warms my heart now that he will walk right up to John and crawl in his lap. We love when Marky gives us “knucks” or helps give Penny her dog treats. We can’t wait to see him steal the show at the wedding.

Josh Murray

Usher

Josh and I have been close friends since we met at SLU. We’ve done everything from intramural basketball, PT school and rooming together. I’m excited to have him be a part of the big day.

Matt Siewert

Usher

Matt and I have been close friends since freshman year at SLU. From battling it out on NFL Blitz between classes to graduating PT school, we’ve been together through so much. I’m thrilled to have him be a part of the big day.
