TelefériQo Cable Car
Highly recommend!! Though if you don't like heights, this might not be the thing for you. For $9 roundtrip, the cable cars take you up over 2,000 meters (roughly 6,500 feet), and you can swing on top of the world - literally, there is a swing set at the top of the mountain. There are also 2-3 trail heads that start at the top of the cable car route, so if you're a big hiker, this is for you!
La Mariscal Artisan Market
Great for souvenir shopping! Most shop vendors don't speak English, so if your phone works, definitely use google translate!
Middle of the World City
This is something that is worth doing at least once just so you can say you've been to the middle of the world, but isn't necessarily our favorite thing from our trip.
El Panecillo
BEAUTIFUL views!! This would be something that we highly recommend that you do at sunset if at all possible. You will get amazing views of every side of the city, and you'll be able to see for miles and miles! Definitely recommend.
Quito Historic Center
Cute little town, full of historic churches, good food, and A LOT of hills! Get ready to do some walking while you're exploring the historic center. We definitely recommend that you spend at least half a day here exploring, checking out the churches and learning about the history. There are also "free walking tours" you can do, and a tour guide will take you around all the important "must see" things in the historic district! (The tour is free, but tipping your tour guide is encouraged).
