Abalone Cove Shoreline Park
Walk down the 10 minute trail and check out the tide pools. Tons of sea life can be seen, just be careful. Rocks can be slippery and surge can be treacherous if there is large surf.
Point Vicente Lighthouse
Enjoy a picnic at Point Vicente. Bring some food and sit on the large lawn overlooking the Pacific and Catalina Channel. If you are lucky, you will see various species of whales during their annual migration!

Shop, Dine and Enjoy the Beach at Hermosa Pier Plaza. Good food, great shopping and one of the best beaches in the country all here and make for a great afternoon.

Battleship Iowa Museum
Take a tour of the USS Iowa Battleship, used in both the Pacific and Atlantic ocean during WWII, now docked in the San Pedro Harbor.
