It's Happening!

Heyden dated my (Molly's) dog way before he dated me. The day after I got my puppy, Shep, Heyden swooped in asking to "hangout with my dog". I've since learned that he genuinely JUST wanted to hangout with my dog, but I definitely thought this was a pick up line at the time. Fortunately for him, my dog and I are a package deal, so I was along for the ride. After a few weeks of this, I called him, casually quoted New Girl and tried to make unfortunate small talk, and then proceeded to ask him if he was just hanging out with my dog or if he was also trying to hangout with me. He asked me on a date a few weeks later (nothing like some suspense) and the rest is history! Here's to us & tacos forever!
