Due to the new restrictions put in place by the governor, we are required to dramatically reduce the number of guests attending our ceremony. We wish that everyone could come. We will now be having a live stream so that everyone can watch from the safety of their homes. Be on the look out for a Facebook group where the livestream will be posted.

Alex and Kristen met for first time at Kristen's house! She had some friends over and a mutual friend brought Alex with.

After a spring break trip where their friends intentionally put Kristen in Alex's passenger seat for the 14-hour drive down to Texas, Alex asked Kristen on a coffee date. The couple then had to navigate going on dates while one was in Iowa City and the other in Ames, but a few dates later and it was official!

Next was a year of long distance, a summer in two different countries, and one more year finally in the same place. God's grace was made so clear during those two years, and they both learned a lot about His faithfulness.

We can't wait to celebrate with you all! We are praying that God will be glorified in our marriage, and hoping that our wedding celebration would be a display of the love that Jesus has for His Church.
