Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be walking down the isle with us :)

Kaitlyn Gantert

Maid of Honor

Kaitlyn has been my best friend since we were in 8th grade BUT fun fact, we had the SAME first crush in our Kindergarten class. She has been a part of our relationship from the very beginning! She accompanied me to Charlie's surprise 15th birthday party that started everything. I grew up at her house, accompanied her on family trips and she truly is my sister. We have been with each other through so many ups and downs of life and, we will always be there for each other. You always dream that your best friend will get along with your significant other, but I can honestly say Kait is equally as much Charlie's friend as she is mine <3

Brian Hewitt

Best Man

Brother, best friend, and now best man. Brian has been an important part of my life for as long as I've been breathing. Having been born 9 years apart, we aren't your typical siblings who butt heads and compete over every little thing. Instead, our brotherhood has been nothing short of uplifting, encouraging, and a source of positive growth for both of us. Embarking on a numerous amount of hobbies including snowboarding, disc golf, and writing music together has been and continues to be some of the best times that I am incredibly grateful for. I can't imagine having shared these experiences with anyone else. Some argue that we spend too much time together, and I can't say I disagree because our sibling pathology has been getting more and more absurd.... Safe to say there's no one else that has had the same impulsive idea at the same exact time so frequently. That being said, I couldn't imagine going through some of the most important and life changing events without him.

Margaret Ross

Maid of Honor

My Margie girl, where to even begin. The love I have for this girl is unreal. I met her through Charlie his freshman year at QU (much like the majority of this wedding party heheh). We were fast friends, and I always loved getting to go out with her when visiting Charlie. While she was finishing up her MBA, she even lived walking distance from us where we got even CLOSER. Margie would always organize these family dinners that really kept the group together as we all were emerging into the adult world. I miss these family dinners and having Margie within walking distance more than anything. Margie has this incredible unique ability to make everyone she interacts with feel like the most important, beautiful, and worthy person in the world. Margie and I got engaged a week apart from each other and are now getting married 2 months apart. I am so thankful that I have her by my side for this journey and I can't wait for the memories we will make this year.

Matthew Petersen

Groomsman

Matt and I first met back in freshman year of college, where we shared a small single dorm with two others. Safe to say we experienced our fair share of hardships together, but having gotten close made things a whole lot easier to manage. Matt is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. I'll never forget after one of our double date nights with Margie and Rachel, Matt woke up at 5am and walked well over 6 miles to get us all Neil's donuts before we woke up. Admittedly, these donuts were life changing as we all had a bit too much fun the night prior. This is just one example out of the textbook I have of nice gestures that embody just how generous Matt is. Safe to say, Matt certainly deserves his place as a groomsman.

Hallie Dolan

Bridesmaid

My sweet, sweet Hallie. Ugh I love this girl. I also met Hallie through Charlie and his friends his freshman year at QU (I've literally adopted them all as my own). I miss having her live so close to me more than anything. I still don't know what to do without our random nail dates or hot girl walks around town while we talk about anything and everything, especially our latest book recs ;) One of my favorite memories is when we got locked out of my apartment after a weekend trip, and after attempting and, failing to break into every window available, we decided to waste our time at Marshalls until Charlie could save us. We ended up buying the same candle that made us both immediately think of a memory from our trip. I still have that candle, and I still think about Hallie every time I see it.

Mete Rice

Groomsman

Metebob has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Being the two youngest brothers in two very close families, we were known as the "babies" for far longer than either of us are willing to admit. Because of this, we immediately took alliance in proving ourselves in backyard football, "army", and wresting with the older brothers. Fast forward a decade, not a thing has changed. Without fail, Mete and I make time for each other each and every week. Despite the distance between us, we still find time (too much time if you ask Rachel) to hop on COD or Madden, and more often than not we are both in tears laughing. It was never really about the game as much as it was being able to spend time together. Mete is one of the most sincere, hilarious and iconic people I know and I'm proud to have him as a groomsman.

Hannah Reiter

Bridesmaid

How did I meet Hannah? You guessed it! I also stole her as mine after meeting her through Charlie & QU. However, she was always so busy being a soccer rockstar so I didn't really get close with her for a little while. We bonded over nursing school and our emerging nursing careers. Hannah is a go to gal to help blow off steam after a crazy shift, have a long talk about life or play mario kart to the death. She never stops making me laugh and has so much love for me and Charlie and we love her <3

Spencer Jorgensen

Groomsman

Spence is an absolute gentleman I'm honored to have as a groomsman. Having met in college during our..."goon" phase, we have both been through our major life changes together, and were sure to always be there for one another. Having started our friendship freshman year going to Toads, jumping through tables, and other acts of tomfoolery I'll intentionally leave out, I am proud of how far we have both come since. Our friendship really took off post graduation, when we found ourselves in MBA-695 Learning Lab every Thursday night, complaining about our Masters and sharing stories of our post grad experiences. The rest was history... Spence would sacrifice sleep any day of the week for a guys night, and proved his dedication just about every other weekend for years. Beer Bourbon & Beans Club (BBB) will prevail.

Lexi Fernandes

Bridesmaid

My Lexi, my boo, my work wife. We met when we were both in nursing school and working as student nurse technicians at a small hospital. I immediately loved her sense of humor and started only picking up shifts on her unit because she helped make work fun. We later found out that we lived down the road from each other, we were then inseparable. I fell in love with her kiddos, her husband and Charlie fell in love, and, a few years later we are work wives once again saving little babies. Whether it's a beach day, a post shift breakfast, or a random coffee date, I can always count on you to be there for me and cheer me up. Our couple dates have quickly become my favorite thing and the list of places we plan to travel is ever growing. I love you babe.

Mike Fernandes

Groomsman

Gym buddy, band mate, and amazing friend, Mike is one of the most sincere people I've ever met (although he sucks at disc golf). Initially meeting via proxy of our wives… well Rachel soon to be wife… we became best buds almost immediately. From the start, Mike has inspired me to be the best version of myself. Watching Mike balance being a father of three, a husband, and chasing his dreams simultaneously has been an eye opening perspective I didn’t realize I needed. Honored to have this stand up gentlemen next to me on my big day.
