Unfortunately not, but there will be potent potables. Please bring ID and money for alcoholic beverages, and drink responsibly. Bar closes at 10:30.
Please arrive at the venue no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow time for for you to park ( unless you’re Ubering or have alternative transportation), sign the guestbook, and find your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour to enter.
The Grand Rapids Art Museum, where the wedding takes place, is in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. It is recommended that guests arrive early and park in either the parking garage, city outdoor parking spaces or utilize transportation services such as Uber or Lyft. Please give yourself extra time as the ArtPrize festival will be ongoing.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guest formally invited on our wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP. If you don’t, please respect our wishes as we’re trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. Thank you so much for understanding!
Absolutely, the children should have already been included in the RSVP! . Please be sure to keep a close eye on them throughout the evening, because some parts of the museum are off-limits.
The only request we make is to please put your phones away during the CEREMONY! We have hired incredible, photographers and videographers to capture our ceremony, and would love for you to be present when we say “I do”. However, please feel free to take photos throughout the evening otherwise! We will have our phone numbers placed around the venue for you to share specially captured moments from the evening.
The ceremony and the reception will take place at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. The ceremony will take place indoors in the auditorium. Cocktails and reception will take place in the lobby after the ceremony has ended. The rest of the night will be spent dancing and enjoying each other’s company back in the auditorium.
We’d love to see our loved ones get dressed up for the big day. Dress code is semi formal/cocktail.
