Kelsey and Ian went to the same school. We originally met on the playground during recess, and Ian was flirting with my best friend and that's when we knew we didn't like each other. So, all through fourth to eighth grade we didn't speak one word to each other. Finally, when Kelsey graduated from eighth grade she went to Mission Vista High School and Ian went to Fallbrook High School where we played on the high school golf teams. One day we were both practicing at Fallbrook Golf Course where we looked at each other from across the range, and recognized each other. After Ian struck up a conversation to catch-up, we haven't ended the conversation since.
Ian just came back from Internship in Memphis, TN, and was acting strange for about a week. He kept talking about how he wants to have a day for just the two of us. One night he picked a restaurant called Hearthstone in Las Vegas where we live, and little did I know that his best friend, Keegan, was at the house getting it all ready for that special night. We left the restaurant and you could tell that Ian was nervous, but we pulled into the driveway and he told me to stay in the car because he "needed to fix something". Little did I know that Keegan had decorated the whole house with candles and rose petals and a path leading to outside where Ian was standing in a heart of rose petals on one knee. From there he proposed, I said yes, and here we are finally getting married.
