Jessie really recommends this place if you want to go stand up paddleboarding or kayaking. It's in the bay so you're not up against any waves and it's pretty peaceful/easy to get around in the water.
The Little Italy in San Diego is a very vibrant area that extends several blocks with lots of great restaurants and bars and is a fun time during the day as well as night. There is a plaza that you can sit in and enjoy your Salt & Straw ice cream if you're just walking through. There's also a Saturday AM Farmer's Market!
Kind of like a mini Pike's place in San Diego. A fun place to browse or go to eat if you have a bunch of people who don't know what they want to eat and want to get something casual. Liberty Station, where it's located is an old naval base and pretty fun to walk around. Stone Brewing is next door.
