Ashley Meyer

and

Joseph Hession

June 6, 2026

Derry, NH

We've waited 3,108 days for this....

party and plan accordingly.

The Beginning

12.02.2017

Joe & Ashley met in November of 2017 and since then they've been inseparable. After only three weeks of going on dates and getting to know each other, they began dating. Joe at the time was studying Political Science at Southern New Hampshire University and Ashley was still at home going to Pinkerton Academy. In the Fall of 2018, Ashley started her Bachelors program studying Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of New Hampshire. For 4 (long) years they commuted back and forth going to each others schools and making the most out of their time together.

The Proposal

06.25.2024

Joe proposed to Ashley during their cruise through Europe where they visited the Amalfi coast in Italy, Greece and Malta. Joe had a brilliant plan to propose in Sicily, on top of the largest astronomical clock in the world. Unfortunately, Ashley's stomach had other plans due to snails they tried the night before and the clock was closed. But Joe swiftly changed course and got down on one knee in a beautiful garden just a few minutes from the cruise ship. While it didn't go as planned, it was surely something to remember and romantic.

Mr. T & Maple

04.14.2024 & 11.04.2024

After Joe and Ashley moved in together in January 2024, Ashley and Joe (mostly Ashley) felt like they needed to add a member to the family. They went looking for that perfect addition at shelters around the area, where they stumbled upon a cute black and white tuxedo cat later renamed Mr.T. He certainly fooled them with his very demure attitude, cuddliness, and quaint meows. They brought home Mr.T, and after about three days he showed his true crazy colors. Regardless, he is still so loved and keeps them on their toes! A few months after Ashley treating the cat like a dog, Joseph decided they needed an actual dog. While they met a few that would've been good fits, they ended up meeting a 2-month old mutt later renamed Maple. She was a rescue from Puerto Rico, abandoned by her mother on a beach. Since the beginning, she was a loving and sweet ball of energy. Even after 10 months, that still has not changed.
