FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

It would be extremely helpful if you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation. We ask that you RSVP before August 15th. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as “not attending” due to our vendors’ cutoff dates.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can’t make it please make sure to RSVP with a "No" so we can plan accordingly. But don’t worry! We will be having a wedding celebration in both California and Michigan for all of those who are unable to attend.

Question

What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM in the Chapel (not the main church). Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you! To keep our wedding intimate and ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably, we have decided that only the children listed on the RSVP are invited to attend. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this memorable day with you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up like us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for the evening. Women: Mid to long length dresses. Venue is indoor/outdoor with grass, stone and wood flooring so keep that in mind when choosing shoes. Men: Button down shirt with dress pants. Ties and suit coats optional. Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white.

Question

What is the weather like in Texas?

Answer

There’s a famous saying in Texas “you’ll get all the seasons in one week.” We would recommend a light to medium jacket for the cocktail hour - this will be held outdoors, however there are fire pits to keep you warm! The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Please check the weather forecast for Dallas before your trip.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We ask that all our guests please drink responsibly and do not drive. If you plan on drinking, please make arrangements for a ride to your accommodations. Uber & Lyft are both available in the area, please pre-schedule a pick up through the app. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Unfortunately no, please make sure to plan accordingly with an Uber, Lyft or sober driver to get you home.
