Here is the long answer: Though we understand that you may want to consider all of your options for accommodations, it is important that our wedding guests stay at Sandals Dunns River or, worst-case, a nearby Sandals resort. Sandals allows us to have a small portion of wedding guests be non-Sandals guests. This allows us to invite friends and family who live on the island without issue. Otherwise, non-Sandals guests have no access to the resort. Even in the case of my family on the island, they will only be able to participate in wedding day activities. This means the Welcome Party and any activity/excursions of interest would be out of the question. As a result, we must encourage our guests to choose a reservation at a Sandals resort to ensure that all of our guests can attend the wedding and enjoy the activities of the weekend. We were assured that outside of the allotted non-Sandals guests, no one else would be allowed onsite. WHEN BOOKING YOUR ROOM We find that speaking with a booking agent on the phone is a much better option than searching online on your own.
