Question

Where is the wedding, and what should I know about the venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at Pinter's Event Center in Decorah, Iowa. There’s plenty of parking available on-site. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing comfortably for both settings.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re keeping it classic, whatever’s standard for weddings is great. Semi-formal or dressy casual attire is perfect. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or dress shirts with slacks. No need for tuxedos or ball gowns, but feel free to dress up and have fun with it. If you’re still unsure, just wear something you’d feel good in at a wedding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive about 15 to 20 minutes before the ceremony starts. This gives you enough time to park, find your seat, and get settled before we begin. We’ll be starting promptly, so arriving a little early is the best way to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Are kids welcome?

Yes, kids are definitely welcome. We’ve included all the children we know of on the RSVP form, so if your kids are listed, you’re all set. If we happened to miss someone, please don’t worry. They’re absolutely invited, and we’d just love to know so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

If your guest is listed on the RSVP form, then yes, we’d love to have them. If not, we’re keeping things intimate and unfortunately won’t be able to accommodate additional guests. Thanks for understanding!

Please RSVP by June 5th. That gives us enough time to finalize all the details and make sure everything’s set for the big day.
