Gianna Zitello is the maid of honor. Gianna and Christina both attended Oglethorpe University. They became sorority sisters of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority, roommates their junior year, and have been inseparable ever since. In adulthood, they continue to share laughs, feel more like family than friends, and hope one day their significant others will allow them to become next door neighbors and stay at home wives who drink wine and watch reality tv all day.
Samuel Gudger
Best Man
Sam Gudger is the best man. Sam and Drew both attended Brookwood High School and later Georgia State University, where they were roommates all 4 years. When these two are together, the laughs are endless and the shared history apparent. No one else Drew would want to stand next to him on his big day!
Kiana Lawrence
Bridesmaid
Kiana Lawrence is a bridesmaid. Kiana and Christina met at Oglethorpe University, and became Alpha Sigma Tau sorority sisters during Christina's freshman year. Kiana was not only an integral part of Christina's undergraduate experience, but in the years after, they've traveled the world and continued to make memories.
Laurence "Larry" Johnson
Groomsman
Larry Johnson is a groomsman. Larry and Christina met in high school and had a rather contentious academic rivalry with Lauren playing mediator. They have all since grown close in adulthood and despite often heated ideological debates, there's never a dull moment without laughs between all of them with Drew adding a cool, calm, and collected presence to this rambunctious group of friends.
Laura Albornoz
Bridesmaid
Laura is a bridesmaid. Laura and Christina met at Oglethorpe University as they became sisters of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. Despite graduating at different times and Laura's stint in Germany (!), they're thick as thieves and always the life of the party when together.
Joshua Imana
Groomsman
Joshua Imana is a groomsman One Christmas, Christina asked for a baby brother and Joshua Imana is the product of that wish. Sharing a love of movies and video games with his new brother-in-law, Drew and Christina are happy to have Joshua stand next to them on their big day!
Lauren Taylor
Bridesmaid
Lauren Taylor is a bridesmaid. Lauren and Christina met at Peachtree Ridge High School, but became closer after graduation. Sharing a love of education, good drinks, and travel, these two are always either pondering the world's problems or wondering where the next party is!
Ryan Hertenberger
Groomsman
Ryan Hertenberger is a groomsman. We don't believe Ryan asked for Drew as a Christmas wish, but regardless, he got stuck with Drew. We're happy to have this fun sports fan be a part of the party and give up fall sports Saturday to stand next to us!
Clara Zajde
Bridesmaid
Clara Zajde is a bridesmaid. Clara and Christina met in elementary school (find a pic of them as kids on the photos tab!) , and maintained a friendship throughout their schooling and after graduation. Despite a pandemic and Clara's move to Paris, they have continued to make memories, share laughs, and be a large part of each other's lives.
Blake Irving
Groomsman
Blake Irving is a groomsman. Blake initially met Christina on an adult kickball league but soon a friendship began and stuck (unlike Christina's kickball career)! Since then, Blake has become an integral part of the couple's life as he not only sold them their house but also is the godfather of their dog-son Odin.
