FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 30th, 2025. The earlier the better! If you do not RSVP we will assume you are not coming.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Option 1: Navigate to the "RSVP" tab on this website Option 2: Scan the QR code on the back of your invitation to go directly to the RSVP tab on this website For both Option 1 & 2- just type in your name (first OR last) and select your name. You'll be asked to indicate attendance for you and a +1 (or your partner if we knew them in advance) for the ceremony and reception. Option 3- Send either one of us a text or message on social media. If you don't have our accounts or numbers, don't use this option!

Question

What if my plans change after I RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend or if you need to make any changes to your RSVP. You can update your RSVP through the website or send us a quick message.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:00, with or without you. We recommend arriving by 1:45 to allow time for parking and getting to a seat before the ceremony starts.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is business casual to semi-formal. We’d love to see you in something stylish but comfortable, like slacks or a nice dress shirt for men, or a cocktail dress or nice blouse with pants or a skirt for women. Since the weather can be chilly, especially in the evening, we recommend layering up and bringing a jacket or shawl to stay warm. Most importantly, wear what makes you feel comfortable and ready to celebrate!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’d prefer an adults-focused celebration so everyone can fully enjoy the night. That being said, we understand this is a destination wedding for many of our guests, so if it’s a challenge to find childcare or bringing them is otherwise necessary, please reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Please let us know well ahead of time.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided. It is a five minute drive around the lake to get from the Marina Pavilion to the Community Center and there should be ample parking at both locations. Please plan to party responsibly and avoid drunk driving.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

For our Colorado based guests, it is about an hour and a half from Northglenn to Estes Park- you could make the drive or you could book a hotel- you do you! For our traveling guests, Estes Park is a BEAUTIFUL area with dozens of accommodations to choose from. It is a popular tourism destination, so it can be on the pricy side, but absolutely worth it! Lyons and Loveland are nearby (20 & 60 minutes away respectively) and can potentially offer cheaper options. Check out the "accommodations" page for a variety of recommendations at all price ranges.

Question

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

We will do our best to accommodate common dietary needs, but please let us know about any serious allergies. While we can take precautions, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met. Our menu with be gluten conscious (will likely have gluten free options) and have vegetarian/pescatarian options.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both venues have a decent amount of parking. There are 30 guaranteed spots at the pavilion, and more than that at the community center.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early May in Estes Park can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a jacket or shawl in case it gets chilly, especially in the evening.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to be fully present with us during the ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away until the reception. Don’t worry, we’ll share the professional photos!

Question

What’s the timeline for the day?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2:00 PM, and after the ceremony, we’ll move to the reception venue. It’s just a short 5-minute drive around the lake from the ceremony site to the community center. We’ll kick off the reception with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing. Please note, the party needs to wrap up by 10:00 PM so we can clean up and clear out by 11:00 PM.
