FAQs

Question

What kind of wedding will this be?

Answer

This will be a Christian camp wedding! We will enjoy camp snacks, yard games, campfires, and more. Come prepared to play, eat, sing, and dance.

Question

What kind of food and drink will be available?

Answer

We will be serving snacks, hot coffee, and a casual full meal. We will not be serving alcohol. If you have an allergy or special request, contact Abby at (234) 802-2076.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Weather permitting, both ceremony and reception will be hosted outdoors in grass and gravel. Consider the dress code "Fall Cocktail Attire". (Examples: Button-ups and khakis/dress pants. Dresses/skirts/jumpsuits and wedges. Dark jackets.) Please bring an extra layer for after the sun goes down. It is recommended that guests bring a change of clothes if they want to participate in gaga ball or canoeing.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We would love to have an unlimited number of guests, but we are limited by venue and budget. Please only bring a plus one if you are invited to, and indicate on your RSVP if they're coming! (You may update your RSVP if things change.)

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We want our wedding to be a relaxing experience for everyone, which is why we have decided to limit young children to a few close relatives and family of bridal party. Thank you for understanding and making the necessary arrangements to leave the kids at home!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

We will have signage indicating guest parking. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the grassy field on the outskirts of camp. Please bring footwear appropriate for grass and gravel. Closer parking will be reserved for our handicapped and older guests.

Question

Can I take pictures and videos?

Answer

In the spirit of summer camp, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. Phones will be turned off during the ceremony, and our hired photographer will take pictures. During the reception, phones are allowed, and so are photos and videos! Please tag us in any photos or videos you share.
