The Welcome Dinner on Friday, August 1st will be a relaxed but slightly dressy evening as we kick off the weekend! Since our photographer will be there capturing the fun, we recommend outfits that are comfortable and photo-ready. Think breezy sundresses or jumpsuits for women, and linen pants or tailored shorts with a button-down or polo for men. Sandals or casual dress shoes are perfect. It’s not as formal as the wedding day, but it’s still a great chance to look cute and coordinated! For the Wedding Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, August 2nd, we kindly ask that you dress in beach formal attire for our celebration. For men, slacks with a dress shirt or a lightweight suit is perfect, and for women, a light dress or a flowy maxi dress would be ideal for the beach setting. While the wedding will not be directly on the beach, please note that there may be some walking on the sand or photo opportunities by the water.
Yes, the resort does have a dress code, generally described as “smart beach casual.” This means relaxed, comfortable clothing with a touch of polish. Think sundresses, nice shorts or pants, casual tops, and sandals. While some restaurants are a bit more formal than others, reviews suggest the dress code isn’t strictly enforced, so take it as a good excuse to dress up a little for dinner!
Please fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). After booking your room with our travel coordinator, Mina Nyugen, she will arrange transportation to and from the airport for a smooth and stress-free experience. The typical transfer time from the airport to the resort is approximately 75-90 minutes. For your return, the transfer company requires you are dropped off at the airport 3 hours before your scheduled departure.
Check-in at the resort is 3PM. Your room may not be ready if you arrive before the check-in time, though if you do arrive early, you will be invited to enjoy the resort facilities, pools, and restaurants while they prepare your room. #GetTurnt Check-out at the resort is 12PM. If you are scheduled for pick up after the check-out time of 12PM, you will still be required to check out of your room, but you may use the resort facilities, pools, and restaurants until your departure. #StayTurnt
Expect lots of sunshine and possibly some quick tropical showers. Remember to pack lots of sunscreen!
We recommend sticking to bottled or filtered water, just to be safe. The resort provides plenty of it!
We recommend bringing a bit of cash for tips. From past trips to Mexico, we’ve learned that most resort staff prefer U.S. dollars over local currency. If you’re booking activities or excursions, most vendors accept credit cards.
Yes! If you’d like to explore off the resort, the concierge can help you book excursions and transportation. If you do venture out, we recommend using the buddy system - safety first, always!
