Great pastries and coffee. Try our favorite - the salted caramel coconut latte with almond milk. YUM!
Another great place for morning coffee and pastries. Try the almond croissant! It's to die for!
We love their pizzas!
Rotating menu - we have never been disappointed with anything we have had to eat here! This place has Ashley's favorite bread pudding.
AMAZING ice cream! Try a sample of their butter pecan ice cream. This is where we went for our first date :)
This place is pricey - but they have the only salad in town that we actually crave!
Looking for another Arizona staple? This place has a seasonal rotating menu that is delicious.
Southwestern inspired steakhouse and home of the original green chile potato. This is a great place for a late night cocktail in the underground speakeasy.
Fun spot down town where you can walk around, admire graffiti artwork, have a cocktail, eat delicous foods, and enjoy activites such as bowling, comedy, and a street fair. We recommend AZ Wilderness, Traphouse BBQ, The Churchill, and Cham Pang Lanes.
The infamous Piestewa Peak Summit Trail is a 2.2 mile out and back trail that rewards successful hikers with a 360 degree view of the Phoenix area. While short in length, the trail is steep, jagged, and consists of multiple switchbacks and modified steps with integrated sections of gravel and rock. This summit trail has been a Phoenix favorite for several decades and is internationally recognized among hiking communities. Water, parking, and restrooms are available at the base of the trail. This is one of our favorite trails that we enjoy on our weekly Saturday morning hikes. Warning- the parking lot tends to fill up early on the weekend.
Papago Park is one of the most scenic and easily accessible desert areas in the Phoenix metro area. Its 1,500 acres is filled with hiking and biking trails, picnic areas and lagoons. Papago Park is also home to attractions including the “Hole in the Rock” hike, Desert Botanical Garden, the Phoenix Zoo and AZ Heritage Center at Papago Park. This is a great place to go for a nature walk in the desert. There is a paved 5k trail as well as a golf course and a frisbee golf course.
A fun municipal golf course in the city at very very affordable prices. It is home to the "Sunday Special."
Home to two very different courses, the adobe and the links.
Great place for outdoor brunch, shopping, movie theater, and clubs/bars late at night.
Beautiful park with an 18 hole disc golf course. Great place to spend a spring afternoon in Phoenix.
Great brewery. They do not serve food and parking is very limited, so it is best to catch a ride here. If you get hungry, consider walking over to Pa'La or check Wren House's website to see if they have a food truck that day.
Very interesting bar that was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives.
A favorite burger place since high school with great milkshakes.
