I had recently graduated from "A" School school and Katlynn took leave from Bahrain and we decided to go on vacation to Orlando. The Airbnb was booked in advance as well as the rental car. All we had to worry about was spending money while we were there. Funny story, we played a game at the fair the night before and ended up having nothing but $400 to spend in Orlando. Thank God we were both in the military by then because we got in either free or dirt cheap for everything we wanted to do. We went to Universal City Walk, Sugar Factory and Katlynn gifted me with the most beautiful necklace in the world(it's still my favorite necklace), Dave and busters, Sea World, and Disney World. That's where the magic happened. November 6. Neither one of us knew the other was going to propose to the other. We were in sync just that much. See, I already had a surprise proposal set up at the Airbnb before we left for Disney, but Katlynn took her ring with her. When we arrived to Disney it was pouring down raining and I cried because I thought our day was ruined. It stopped raining within 15 minutes and remained sunny for the rest of the day. We went to buy our ears and the cashier gave us 2 pins. We never noticed they said "Happily Ever After" and people were telling us congratulations all day. Fast forward to the evening and we prepare for the parade. I could tell Katlynn was anxious about something because she wanted us to be in the perfect spot for the fireworks. The parade was over and the fireworks had begun. As I began recording them Katlynn tapped me. I looked at her and looked back at the fireworks not noticing she was down on one knee. She tapped me again and that time I noticed what she was doing. She was proposing to me spilling her heart out as I awkwardly start crying and still recording the fireworks. Of course I said yes! When we returned to the airbnb Katlynn proposal awaited and she was so shocked and cried and said yes to me as well.
