We’re tying the knot!

Monica and Juan were introduced by each of their cousins. Neither of them could go out without Monica or Juan. The only form of communication was through Facebook and cell phone conversations. So a friendship started all from social media, text and phone calls. They got to know each other more and more each day, even though they were far apart Juan asked Monica to be his girlfriend. Making it each other’s first relationship. With the help of each of their family members Monica and Juan were able to see each other. Whether it was in Houston or Katy they found a way to see each other and keep their long distance relationship going. Just like any young first relationship things happen and it ended. Not for long though.

Monica slid into Juan’s DM’s how the young people say. Juan was hesitant to respond as they have not talked to each other in years. Having two beautiful girls and Monica did not have any children of her own. He went for it and replied. Which was the best decision of his life. Monica accepted and respected Juan had father hood responsibilities. With time Juan asked Monica to be his girlfriend on 01/30/22 and then rest is history.

Juan had a very special day planned out in Las Vegas, it was his first time visiting. It was with almost all of Monica's family that joined on the trip. This made Juan's plans even more special, it was a tour on a helicopter. It would take them to the mountains where Monica would be distracted by the scenery, Juan would be waiting on his knees ready to pop the question as soon as Monica turned around. As a joke walking the strip, they took a picture in front of a chapel to pull a prank on both families. Juan's future mother in law made a very good point, he could not ask Monica to marry him as he had not asked for her blessing and the whole family was not present. With there still being time, Juan quickly called the tour company and explained why he had to cancel. They understood and refunded the fair amount possible. Juan had to come up with a way to get all the family together as Monica was the woman he had been waiting for all his life. What better day than Christmas, Monica thought they were meeting at her mother's house just to eat left overs. They arrived to all their family present which shocked her because everyone was well dressed while they were in their pajamas. Good thing Juan made sure they each brought a change of clothes. Monica was rushed upstairs to wash up and change. As soon as Monica came downstairs Juan sat her down on a chair surrounded by all their family. He got down on his knee and serenated her with beautiful words from the heart. Monica with tears of happiness raining down her face responded with yes!
