We're getting married!

Our love story began on Chispa, but it blossomed thanks to a cup of coffee… and Google Translate. Our first date was at a Starbucks. We remember that day as if it were yesterday: the nerves, the glances, and that strange yet beautiful silence we shared because we didn’t speak the same language. Neither of us spoke the other’s language—English and Spanish—so communicating was a real challenge. But there was our faithful accomplice: Google Translate. With its help, we began to understand each other word by word… and little by little, with our hearts as well. At first, we thought the language barrier would make it impossible, but we were wrong. What started with poorly translated phrases and lots of laughter turned into a real, deep, and beautiful connection. Today, after so many conversations, lessons, and shared moments, we are engaged and about to get married. Above all, we thank God, because we understand that nothing in our story was a coincidence. Our meeting was an answer to prayers made with faith and patience. For a long time, we asked God for a true love, a life partner with whom to walk hand in hand with Him, and He gave us much more than we ever imagined. In every step, every trial, and every blessing, we have felt His presence guiding us. Today, as we commit our lives to one another, we affirm that this love was born in His perfect timing and under His will.
