IMPORTANT: Please read re: COVID-19 precautions our venue requires.
Answer
Our venue requires masks to be worn on arrival to protect the elderly residents of the building. They are not required once you have entered our event space. Our venue requires all guests to submit proof of vaccination IN ADVANCE of the event (no later than 10/3). Your vaccination proof must match your name on our guest list (or what is entered for your guest on the RSVP of this site). We will use legal names, however please reach out to Amber or Michael if the name we know you by differs from your legal name on your proof or vaccination. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Our venue will begin welcoming guests in at 4:45pm. If you are driving, please arrive early to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is a small parking lot about 2 blocks away at 1506 Madison St. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood; we suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early to find parking. If you are local to the Bay Area, we HIGHLY encourage utilizing the rideshare service of your choice.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Should you wish to coordinate with the feel of our wedding, vintage or vintage inspired in black or jewel tones is highly encouraged!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence is the best present, and after nearly two decades together already, we have all the material possessions we need! If you wish to give a gift, we have created a honeymoon fund to contribute to our adventures. Check out our registry page to find out where we're headed on next!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We want to be sure there is enough room on the dance floor for everyone! Therefore, please refrain from bringing a guest unless it's noted on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love kids, but we know how hard our parent friends have been working over the last two and half years. Come let your hair down at our adults-only evening!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
The Moxy and The Kissel are stylish new hotels that have recently opened in downtown Oakland and are only 10 minutes or less by car.
