We met through mutual friends that set us up on a blind date. Rudy would disagree that it was a blind date because I happened to see him the night before our first date. We officially met at El Paragua April 21, 2018 and had dinner with friends. We talked almost everyday after that and went on a few more dates before making it "official" on July 15, 2018.
Oh the proposal......... Anyone who knows Rudy, truly knows how much of a romantic this guy can be. We had just got back from a Las Vegas trip, where we had seriously talked about marriage. We both knew that we were in it for the long run, the only question was "when would be the right time?" When we got back home from our trip, we continued to talk about the possibilities of getting married and when would be a good time to do it. December 13, 2019: Rudy invited me over for dinner at his house. I knew he had marriage on his mind all day. When I got there, Rudy, his mom, and myself were sitting in the kitchen talking when Rudy could not hold it in anymore. His proposal started out with, "Well I'm just going to say it because I can't hold it in anymore." Then continues to go on with "you know I'm not into that Hallmark sh**, so are you going to marry me or not?"
