Bridesman
Drew is my Virgo brother from another Dawn. He has lived with me. He has loved with me. And he is the co-Daddy to our puppies. Drew is one of those people you meet later in life but who just gets you like you’ve been friends for years. And then one afternoon, you’re drinking wine on the couch watching White Christmas, and you know you’ll be friends forever.
Bridesmaid
Cycle Sisters forever! Jessica brought me out of my shell and helped me find my confidence in my 30s after life tried to get me down. She also introduced me to a fun-loving bro she knew from college. His name is Justin.
Bridesmaid
My Bobo. Katy and I fell in love a long time ago, and she helped convince me to move to Orlando. She is a dancing queen, a Mother Monster, a very fancy lady, and someone I aspire to be like, when I grow up.
Bridesmaid
My Halloween Horror partner, my life partner, my oldest best friend, Stacey and I bonded one day when we were both stood up, and it was the best outcome we could’ve imagined. We share fur sisters and rooms when we go on vacation. She lets me be me, even if I get removed from a Yacht Rock show.
Mother of the Bride
A-1 from day 1! Loretta has been a fan of Justin (and Christine) since the beginning and supported us through thick and thin. No one is stronger than my mother, and after a glass of wine, please ask her to flex and prove it! But her strength is not just biceps and 300+ marathons, it’s the resilience of her character - always pushing through difficult times where others would quit because it’s too hard or because it’s “time to retire” or because you shouldn’t run that race with broken ribs or a wired jaw or stop breastfeeding because it’s been a year (or 4…), she keeps going because she knows she’s doing the best for herself and her family. She taught me to take the option out, to keep trying even after I have fallen or gotten hips replaced or had my heart broken, because God has a plan for me even if I don’t know it. And thank God I kept going because I made it all the way to Justin, and I look forward to what’s to come, thanks to Loretta!
Officiant
Easily one of the happiest and nicest humans around, we both love Phil and everything he stands for! He and Loretta are a wonderful example of what it takes to have a healthy, loving, and successful marriage: travel, cheese, patience, and God - not in the particular order. We look forward to Phil’s guidance, wisdom, and laughter at our ceremony and for the rest of our lives.
Brother of the Bride
Michael is my little brother who has always acted like a big brother - wise beyond his years, accountable, no-nonsense, and maybe even better at spinning. I’ve always been a little jealous that he found his passion early on - he’s a magnificent chef and restaurateur, but he has always supported my passions and even welcomed me back to the restaurant to share in his success. Justin proposed to me at Michael’s wedding to Colleen, and we are very excited to share our happy day with them!
Father of the Bride
Not a day goes by where something doesn’t remind me of my Dad - a bad joke, rum runners when you’re not on vacation, a piano man, doughnuts after a race, Michael McDonald, dolphins. I just wish Bill could have met Justin. I know they would’ve gotten along swimmingly with lots of jokes, sarcasm, and always big dreams for their families and futures. I miss him all the time, but I know he’s looking down because he made sure I always knew the answer when he hugged me and asked “who loves you, Baby?”
