We met when I was working for Tyler's dad at Bellomy, Turner & Bartram. We said hello a few times on his way to his moms office, and one night I told my coworker, Sarah how cute I thought he was. Fast forward a few weeks, everyone was tired of me talking about him, so she made it happen! He messaged me and we went to dinner that night at the Peddler and haven't been apart since.
Our first date was to Peddler in Huntington. We sat there for three hours sharing a pretzel, and then went to Tyler's house to watch Hannibal, one of Jamie's favorite movies.
I proposed to Jamie when we visited home for her family reunion. One of her friends from high school had reached out to us about a month before asking to take couples photos of us for her portfolio, and I knew it was the perfect opportunity. We were in a field during sunset, and I surprised her with the ring. That night we went to Peddler (seeing a theme?) and celebrated with our best friends and sharing a pretzel.
