This is a great short hike with beautiful views at the end. There is a small parking lot (~9 spots) with some street parking nearby. Be careful and make sure to follow signs to avoid any parking tickets. The views during sunset from this spot are stellar. This was one of the first "Chattanooga" favorites Herman took Jess too shortly after we started dating, and it's one of our favorite spots to frequent.
This park has a great view of the city. Admission is $10 dollars and we would say it's definitely worth it! There's a ton of space to walk around. You can get to the park by car, there's a ton of street parking. Or, you can take the Incline Railway (https://ridetheincline.com/) and walk over.
This is one of our favorite breweries in town. There are two locations, both with great atmosphere and good food/drinks. Herman and Jess love to go to either location to play board games, meet up with friends, and eat good food (our favorite is the pretzel with cheese).
This is the classic Chattanooga pedestrian bridge. You can park near Coolidge Park or in the Bluff View Art District for easy access to the pedestrian bridge. Herman and Jess frequent this bridge quite a bit throughout the year. Grab a coffee or an ice cream and take a walk over the Tennessee River!
This is a fun place to drive or walk. There's a road that takes you around the reservoir and has GREAT views of the mountains and water. Herman and Jess love to drive around this to clear our heads and get out of the city. This place feels very calm and picturesque!
This is a speakeasy inside of Goodfella's Pizza. Goodfella's has decent pizza that you can get by the slice. Wiseguy is where Herman and Jess had their first date!
This is a yummy Italian spot with great views. It's perfect for a date night! Herman's favorite is the chicken piccata.
