We're Getting Married!

At first, it wasn't obvious how extraordinary this day would be... ♡ On this day, I decided to start a conversation with this guy on one of the popular dating apps. It was a relief, as I was so tired of the guys who messaged me being jerks and looking for a quick hookup, which did not interest me! After a few weeks of getting nowhere, I received a friendly message from a guy who introduced himself as David. ♡ After days of messaging, we exchanged phone numbers and began to communicate by phone and text. He was charming and appeared more interested in getting to know me than hooking up, which was very attractive. Oh gosh, it hit me - THIS IS NOT JUST SOME FLING! I was actually getting somewhere with this guy, and I enjoyed every second of it! ♡ I finally decided to make the first move and ask him out on the first date. Yes, it was a “lunch date”, but it was a BOLD move for me, and he graciously accepted. I remember seeing this 5'7" guy jump out of a red truck and thinking, "oh gosh, he's short, but I'll give him a shot". He didn't eat (maybe he was a bit nervous), but he made me feel so comfortable, and I loved his compliments. The date was fantastic, and we met again (two days later) at one of his favorite restaurants - oh how sweet, right! ♡ We learned so much about each other, and I found him to be a great listener, very compassionate and nonjudgemental during our conversations. This was the beginning of something very special - and very extraordinary it became! To this day, I am thankful for such a loving companion and can't wait to say "I do" as we embark on this incredible journey together. -Tequita ♡

During a family vacation to the beautiful beaches of Destin, FL., David treated Tequita and their daughter to a romantic dinner at the Marina Cafe. As the night ends, David excuses himself (to an unknown location). All of a sudden, things became more apparent as one-by-one, servers began placing beautiful red roses on the table and walks away without explanation. Tequita quickly became the center of attention as all the guests watched as David reappears, walking down the aisle and getting on one knee, to ask's her to spend the rest of her life with him. ♡ Tequita, surprised and in disbelief, cheerfully replied, “Yes!”
