Our Love

Sledding Sparkle 12/24/19

From day one, meeting at the Bungalow in Huntington Beach, Collin and Liz had a special sparkle. Each day they learned more about each other; going on mountain adventures, diving excursions, or even just hanging out with their dog, Lola, and cat, Pumpkin. Two years in, Collin took Liz to go sledding and asked her to dance. They danced in the middle of the snow in the Sequoia National Forest until Collin slid down onto one knee, very smoothly, and asked Liz to become a Stark.

Winter Engagement

12/24/2019

On Christmas Ever, Collin and Liz woke up and had a wonderful breakfast with Collins's Grandma, Marilyn. After breakfast, Collin rushed Liz our to go sledding! They drove through the Sequoia National Forest until Collin spotted a beautiful winter wonderland just off a side road to sled on! Collin pulled over and took our a camera and the stand as Liz got her gloves on. They grabbed their sleds and walked up the hill. Collin, when asked, explained that the camera was to take photos for next years Christmas card. After setting the camera up, they went sledding! It was a wonderful time that had them laughing until they cried. After a bit, Collin pulled Liz over and started to dance. He turned, twisted, and swirled her around, all the while tell her how much he loved her. After a few more turns, Collin looked like he was slipping, and as Liz reached out to help him, Collin got on one knee, and asked Liz to marry him. She could not believe her ears or eyes. After a very loud "Oh my god, YES!" Collin slipped on the ring and they hugged. Beginning their new life officially together!
