Their love story began in the most unexpected place: an elementary school hallway. Samantha and Frank met in 2019 during Samantha's first year of teaching 2nd grade at Goodrich Elementary School. Frank, a learning behavior specialist with a classroom directly above Samantha's, quickly became one of her closest friends at work. What started as a natural friendship between colleagues deepened when the world turned upside down in 2020. During the pandemic lockdown, they found themselves talking more and more, finding comfort in each other during uncertain times. In May 2020, they took their first step beyond friendship, spending hours driving around together, talking about everything and nothing all at once. On June 24, 2020, they officially became a couple. While the world around them had slowed down, their relationship was just beginning to bloom. They proved that you don't need fancy dates or crowded restaurants to fall in love. Sometimes all you need is each other. They've grown together ever since, both personally and professionally. Samantha moved up to teaching 4th grade, and they continue working side by side at Goodrich Elementary, where their story first began. In October 2022, they took another big step and moved into their apartment together, building a home and a life as partners. Then, on May 3, 2025, Frank asked Samantha to be his wife, and she said yes. From coworkers to friends, from friends to partners, and now from partners to fiancés, they can't wait to celebrate the next chapter of their journey with all of you.
