Alcohol is permitted at the reception venue, but it will not be provided. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol to enjoy during the reception. Please note that there is no alcohol or smoking allowed on the church property. If you need to smoke before, during, or immediately after the ceremony, kindly leave the church property to do so. Thank you for respecting these guidelines, and we eagerly anticipate celebrating with you!
Deadline is October 5. Guests are asked to RSVP for themselves and anyone else who will be accompanying them to the wedding (spouse, plus one and children). If anyone's spouse or children were inadvertently missed in the initial invitation, guests are requested to include them when they RSVP, there will be a notes section for this purpose. Also please don't hesitate to reach out to me to get them accounted for ASAP. It's important to note that no additional guests can be accommodated after the October 5 deadline, so guests should plan accordingly and ensure they RSVP by that date. **! For our registry, we've chosen some helpful gifts, including gift cards for wedding pictures and picture frames. We've also set up a honeymoon fund, which you can find under the Registry tab on this website. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 303 S. Center Mankato, KS 66956 (Amazon and Zola should have the option to send the gift directly) A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

During the reception, which may include some explicit music and alcohol later in the evening, we ask parents to use their discretion regarding their children's presence. We also encourage you to step out with your child if they become restless during the ceremony to minimize interruptions. This ensures that everyone, including kids, can enjoy our special day to the fullest.
Yes, please do! We welcome all your extra photos as cherished memories of our special day. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from standing up during the ceremony or blocking anyone's view to take photos. Our professional photographer will be capturing the key moments, so please avoid interfering with their work. Look for a sign at the wedding and reception with instructions on how to upload photos to a spot where we can access them later—this may include a QR code. Additionally, we've created a hashtag for social media: #HereKohnsTheBride. Using this hashtag when you make a post on social media will help us find everyone's posts and pictures easily. If you need assistance with photo uploads or using the QR code, please don't hesitate to ask! We kindly ask guests to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This allows everyone time to find parking, get settled, and enjoy the pre-ceremony atmosphere. Thank you for your punctuality!
Arrival Time: Please arrive 30 minutes earlier than the invitation states to ensure we have ample time to seat everyone. Post-Ceremony: After the ceremony, the bride, groom, and their families will be taking photos with the photographer. While waiting for us to arrive at the reception venue, guests can take this time to run errands such as picking up their preferred refreshments or heading home to change. Guests are also welcome to proceed to the reception venue (The Armory/City Building), enjoy refreshments, and mingle while we finish up photos. We will start serving food once the Bride and Groom arrive. Bride and Groom Arrival: The bride and groom will join the reception as soon as photos are completed. Dinner will commence shortly afterward. Dinner and Celebration: We will start serving food once the bride and groom have arrived. Following dinner, there will be cake cutting and toasts to our new adventures! Non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages (BYOB). Dance: The dance will begin around 8 or 9 p.m. and continue until 11 p.m. or midnight. Get ready to celebrate and hit the dance floor! (estimating times for the dance but within this window. Will update once we have times set in stone) Socializing: Throughout the evening, feel free to visit with us and enjoy the celebration. We want everyone to have a wonderful time! We also want to see and visit with everyone! We appreciate your support and coming to celebrate such a special day with us!
We are currently planning to serve pulled pork sandwiches accompanied by sides such as potato salad, baked beans, green beans, and possibly a pasta salad. For dessert, there will be cake and possibly cake pops. Refreshments provided will include tea, water, and possibly punch or lemonade. We look forward to sharing this delicious meal with you on our special day! I will update this as it changes closer to the day of wedding!
