I had recently graduated from WSU when I joined a new role at a company - the first week Lalo had reached out to introduce himself and offered any onboarding help. What was supposed to be a 30 minute zoom call about work, turned into an hour of laughs, WSU Coug stories, where our paths may have crossed throughout life, and our cultures; none of which were about work (shout out TEKsystems!) Flash forward months later, we were still good co-worker friends when he called me and said he was leaving the company...I thought this was the last time we would speak and was sad that I was losing my favorite co-worker, but Lalo had other plans when he asked to hang out. What was favorite co-workers, turned into each others favorite person! GO COUGS!
