Dana (Phoebe) and I met the first day I moved to Cincinnati and have been sharing adventures since! Whether it’s meeting halfway to see Austin Powers, cruising the Caribbean like bosses, getting same day tix to go to opening day to see the Cubs, or heading to Gatlinburg to just chill, she’s my ride or die through some amazing adventures.

What can I say about Bunny Jo? I met her on the first day she transferred to BHS and have been connected at the hip since that moment. We’ve celebrated together and supported each other and have even been “domestic partners” by common law I think. We’ve been to Mexico, South Padre (where we were “allegedly” detained), NYC, Bahamas, and so many other locations that I can’t name them all. No matter how much time goes by, we pick up right where we left off and I can never imagine my life where she’s not there. We have been in every adult event for each other and can still finish each other’s thoughts.

The moment I met Stacey, I felt I had a friend and protector for life. We have been called the judgy twins, bossy and opinionated, boss bi+€he$, and two of the strongest personalities people know. All true statements at one point or another. I love that she pushes me when needed and hugs me at just the right moments. She’s my strongest supporter and I know that she is my ride or die. I’ve had some of the best times with her, including Sedona, endless Halloween parties, partaking in the Cincinnati events, Carb Day and of course Staceypalooza. IYKYK. I’ve also had so many heart to hearts that have absolutely changed my life. Stacey was also a huuuuuge part in motivating Spencer to get my diamond. With one phone call.

Dawn and I met at the jewelry store at Kenwood Mall and I instantly knew she was gonna be a friend for life! We’ve bonded over our love of volleyball, flawless dance moves to any Prince song and cracking inappropriate jokes at any given point in the day. She has one of the quickest wits I’ve met! She’s also one of the most caring and genuine friends anyone could have. I’m so proud of her for so many reasons and just wish she lived so much closer so we could have more adventures!
Rachel Trice

I met Rachel in college and knew right away she was a boss! She was probably the leader of the Ashley point gang and brought us all together and I’m so grateful for that. Rachel, makes sure every one of her friends are taken care of no matter what it takes and really focuses on making sure everyone feels included and loved. While she’s miles away, she has the ability to make you feel like she’s right there with you at any given point in time. Rachel has the inherent trait of being the Mom in any situation, but not just the status quo Mom, she’s the cool mom who can cook, create and Martha Stewart that stuff cause she’s classy like that. I’m surprised she hasn’t already had my wedding planned since Spencer and I first met.

Titi. The eldest of the three Heck girls and the one who everyone thinks is sweet as sugar pie. Let me warn you, if you’re good, you can get that version. If you’re not, watch out! Shes actually one of the strongest people I have ever known. She’s an amazing gammy, wife, mother, daughter, teacher and sister. She was my first best friend and I love and admire her more than she’ll ever know.

The one that made me an Aunt and my first responsibility for a little person. I’ve watched her handle life like a boss and overcome so many challenges. She’s also the one that made me a Great Aunt and I have always had a psychic bond with her. We share the same weirdness and toes. April was one of the Ashley Pointe gang in college. We spent our days deciding what Shenanigans we would get in. She was the best gift that Rachel brought in my life. We started as strangers and ended as picked sisters. Now, in lieu of going to Scooter and Scobos and Marina Point, we meet for getting our nails done and dinner. I couldn’t imagine it any other way. We’re planning on starting a new camping adventure once she and Norman join the RV/ Camper club!

Stacie is my animal twin and always ready to chill when I’m in town. Has even ventured to Evansville! Well, by way of Lexington due to missing the first turn and realizing it when she got to Lexington! I keep asking her to move here, but she wants to move to Cali instead…dumb. She’s loving, loyal and always fun to be around!

When people say, “they broke the mold when they were born” I normally roll my eyes. With Katelyn, it is absolutely true. She’s one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met. She’s so dang confident that she’s almost intimidating. Says what she thinks. “Debates” on what she’s passionate about. Dances like no one is watching. Creates so many happy and funny moments in our lives. I’m so glad she’s going to officiate our wedding. Just hope she drinks a bit before so you can all witness the splendor that is DRIT Katelyn Dougan, soon to be Griffith!

Three strong minded, opinionated and perfect little angels. While we challenged her, she stood strong in raising us and was there every time I needed my mom. She’s my travel buddy, my hiking buddy and if she wasn’t the Mother of the Bride, she would also be in my Inner Circle officially.

Lane was a Covid baby so it was a challenge for me to get him to trust me. I’m kind of a lot. LOL. Just this year, he and I were playing and he turned to me and said “Hey Carrie, you nice”. I almost cried. Don’t let the pic fool you, he was mad because he was too short to ride the same ride “Issy” was riding. He’s normally way happier but it was too cute to not use!
