(Christina's Version) On October 15, 2020, I was reluctantly getting ready for yet another Bumble date. I had become quite jaded and decided to not get my hopes up just in case this date didn't go well. In fact, I had actually only put enough money in the parking meter for exactly one hour. Surprisingly I ended up liking this goofy tall guy as the time on our date just flew by. I didn't want the time with him to end. We shared our first kiss that night on a Hermosa Beach lifeguard tower and after we ran back to put more money in the parking meter. That night in Hermosa Beach, I met my best friend and the love of my life. God knew what He was doing when He pushed me out the door to go on that date. On December 26, 2024, Michael proposed at the spot where we had that first date a little over 4 years ago. So much nostalgia and giddy joy saying YES to forever with my best friend. From that first date in Hermosa Beach to our countless trips, I will go anywhere with you. With every step we take together, I’m more certain that there’s no place I’d rather be than by your side, today and forever.

(Michael’s Version) On October 15th 2020 I had just gotten off work and was preparing for another date. It was during the height of the pandemic and it was so hard to meet anyone. I had driven up all the way from Mission Viejo to meet Christina and had no idea what to expect but I was not optimistic. Christina saw me awkwardly trying to figure out how to pay for the meter and we immediately hit it off. The date flew by and I even went with Christina to put more money into the meter. We shared our first kiss and at the end of the date we already were trying to figure out when we would get to see each other again. Soon enough we had a second date and the rest was history. I met the love of my life and even to this day I am excited every time I get to see her. On December 26th 2024 I proposed to Christina at the same Life Guard tower where we shared our first kiss. I was so nervous beforehand but I just knew she would say yes. I had even talked to her dad beforehand to get his permission. Through the time we have been together we have shared so many memories and I am so excited to continue to make more memories and build a life together. I love her so much and I know through it all Christina will always be there for me and I will always be there for her.
